These are pictures of our Aboriginal Headstart Pre-Kindergarten class graduation held on June 3rd, 2009, here at Kikinahk.
The Kikinahk Aboriginal Headstart Prekindergarten program is funded by the Public Health Agency of Canada, with Kikinahk as the sponsor, and is operated in partnership with the Northern Lights School Division here in La Ronge. The NLSD supplies a full time teacher at no cost to Kikinahk so that we can better serve the entire community of La Ronge, as well as providing supervision to ensure that we meet the Provincial expectations of Pre-kindergarten curiculum.
