ITS A LOT EASIER IF YOU PRINT THIS OFF BEFORE FOLLOWING THESE INSTRUCTIONS
FOR JPEG FILES: Most of the photos we take are to large to post here, but you can download this free program called Photoresizer from ( JUST CLICK ON THE FOLLOWING)

Just download it onto your 'c' drive OR anywhere you want, I have it on my desktop: and then go to the picture that you want to change...right click your mouse and click copy (the picture), then go right over the Photoresize icon, click on it so that it is highlighted, right click the mouse, go to paste and click it. This program will do the rest. Go right back to the place your original picture is, and look for another one of the same name with a number beside it that shows you how much smaller it is. That is all you need to do.
If you want to upload your picture to a website host so that it can be shown like like the picture of the beaver house in the 'Photos' section, then go to the next Thread called using Photobucket.
NOW: If you want to post that picture to this site as an attachment, all you have to do is click on that attachment button (that thing that looks like a small paper clip right next to the white smiley face just above where you are typing your message) and then at the top where it says "upload file from your computer" click on browse so that you can find the picture....find your picture, click on it, and then click upload...Once its done uploading, go to the bottom, close the window, and then Go right down to the second window that has additional options, and click on the 'submit new thread.'. That should do it. It would look like this:
